What motivated Matt Carlisle to become a therapist?

His mental health journey is a large motivator to become a therapist, and he wants to help others. Because of this, he has learned the importance of self-care and boundaries. He makes sure to schedule time to do something he enjoys every day, which helps him relax and distance himself from the craziness of life. He prioritizes spending time with family and friends, as they help provide him with meaning and purpose in life. Lastly, he is a strong believer that progression is the key to a happy and meaningful life, which means he is always striving to be better, learn a new skill, or create something with his hands to feel progress in his life.

He feels as if he is a jack of all trades but a master of none. He thrives when participating in his hobbies, which include sports (golf, basketball, volleyball, pickleball, and many more), music (playing multiple instruments and writing my compositions), and learning to be a better cook.
