Claudia’s journey into the field of therapy was shaped by witnessing people she cared about struggle with mental health challenges. Seeing their pain, resilience, and the profound difference that compassionate support can make inspired her to pursue a career where she could walk alongside others during some of life’s most difficult moments. Those experiences gave her a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to ask for help and the importance of feeling truly seen and understood. Today, she is passionate about supporting families experiencing mental health challenges and creating a safe space where clients can heal, discover their strengths, and develop the tools they need to move forward with greater confidence and hope. Claudia understands it is a privilege to support individuals as they work toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.

I believe that setting healthy boundaries in all aspects of my life is essential in maintaining my own mental health. Establishing boundaries doesn’t mean pushing others away, but rather fostering relationships that center on mutual respect and understanding. When I devote time to life activities or relationships that feel safe, respectful and manageable, I feel less stress, resentment, and burnout. Setting clear boundaries at work, home, and in relationships isn’t easy, but it’s an act of self-care that I visit and revisit regularly to ensure my life feels balanced and joyful. I’ve also learned that walking is the easiest way for me to unwind and feel more positive about life stressors. I’ve discovered that walking with close friends to catch up on life is a form of “therapy” for me. I always come back from my walks feeling less stressed, and I’m a believer that meaningful connection is vital for emotional well-being.
When I have free time, I love to be with my family playing games or going on long walks. During the summer, I try to find any excuse to not cook dinner so you may find me playing pickleball, going swimming, and enjoying the beautiful scenery here in Utah with my kids. I love playing the piano and find that it’s a great creative outlet for me and enjoy reading. When the opportunity arises, I love traveling, exploring different cultures, and seeing how others live and thrive in this beautiful world of ours.
“Life is a beautiful journey that comes with highs, lows, and everything in between. Sometimes we all need help discovering our strengths and working through periods of doubt, loneliness, or emotional pain. I believe each person is an expert on their own life, and my role as a therapist is to work collaboratively with you to identify your strengths, navigate challenges, and build practical skills for lasting growth at a pace that feels comfortable to you. I use a trauma-informed, evidence-based approach to therapy and offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen and heard. I’m there to listen to you, validate your feelings, and help you uncover emotional patterns that may be preventing you from moving forward. We will work together to increase self-awareness, build emotional resilience and confidence, and develop healthy coping strategies that honor your personal culture and goals.”
