What is the educational background of Kasha?

Kasha explored various occupations and volunteer roles, including medical transcription, certified nurse’s assistant, cake decorating, and humanitarian efforts, before realizing a common thread: a desire to alleviate suffering. This realization led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology, which she obtained in 2015. Currently, she is completing her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at the University of Phoenix.

What work experience and populations does Kasha serve?

Throughout her career, Kasha has cultivated a nurturing and empathetic environment for children, adolescents, and adults facing personal challenges. She finds fulfillment in guiding individuals to discover their strengths and enhance their self-worth.

What areas does Kasha specialize in?

Kasha specializes in assisting individuals to live purposefully in the present, aligned with their values. Her therapeutic methods include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Existential Therapy.

What techniques does Kasha use to achieve positive mental health?

Personally, I maintain positive mental health through journaling, engaging in physical activities such as running and immersing myself in nature.

What are Kasha’s hobbies and interests?

In my leisure time, I enjoy reading, playing the piano, hiking, playing pickleball, and cherishing moments with my family. I am passionate about traveling, exploring new cultures, trying diverse cuisines, and meeting new people. One of my most memorable experiences was participating in a humanitarian trip to Fiji with Weber State University.

What is Kasha’s therapeutic approach and philosophy?

I am a firm believer in the statement made by Carl Rogers: “When I accept myself just as I am then I can change.” I understand it takes a special kind of space and relationship to experience such vulnerability. It is my therapeutic approach to provide this empathetic and trusting space for individuals to navigate through life’s difficulties, understand who they are, and become the person that they want to become.
