Kasha has explored a diverse range of occupations and volunteer roles, including medical transcription, certified nursing assistant work, cake decorating, working with youth, and humanitarian efforts. Through these experiences, she discovered a common thread: a deep desire to help others. This realization inspired her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, which she completed in 2015. She is currently advancing her expertise by completing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Kasha has had the privilege of working with teens, young adults, and adults facing challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, childhood issues, relationship difficulties, grief, postpartum, self-worth, spiritual/religious issues, and stress management. Her approach is rooted in empathy and a deep commitment to supporting individuals through their healing journeys.
Kasha is dedicated to helping individuals live with curiosity, purpose, and intention in alignment with their core values. Her therapeutic approach is person-centered. She carefully adapts each session for every client to address their unique needs including trauma, anxiety, depression, self-worth, relationship difficulties, spiritual/religious issues, and stress management. She draws on a range of evidence-based practices to support healing and promote personal growth and resilience, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Polyvagal Theory. Additionally, she is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), further enhancing her ability to guide clients toward meaningful and lasting change.
To support my well-being, I engage in a variety of practices that promote joy and balance. These include taking walks in nature, listening to and learning new piano pieces, journaling, and savoring the small moments that cultivate happiness.
I also enjoy reading mystery novels, solving puzzles, running, traveling, and spending quality time with my family. Recently, I have developed a passion for pickleball, where I take pleasure in refining my skills with friends.
Roy T. Bennett once said, “Remember that things are not always as they appear to be. Curiosity creates possibilities and opportunities.” In my practice, I embrace curiosity as a guiding force, working alongside you to explore and understand your experiences and find deeper satisfaction in your life.
